Hello Everybody!

Well now, some of you who know me may have noticed that this is *gasp-shock-horror* a NEW profile page! "But Ser", I hear you cry, "for why have you decided to change now and create this new page? Why leave your previous domain?"

Well, firstly, I am not entirely intending to abandon my old site, its served me well as an initial base and I am sure I can find a use for it; possibly as a place to post pieces initially to get some feedback and make modifications, or for some other form of works, or maybe just as a spare or back-up site. However, as to why I changed, well it is, inn many ways, the most trivial of reasons - I basically wanted to change the name.

Its not entirely as simple as that, though. Since I created the first site, the concept and idea of "Serendipity", my on-line persona and somewhat alter-ego (as it were), has changed from simply being a name chosen for a forum into something of a persona in its own right, with a full name and at least the beginnings of some stories and history in my mind. At the same time, although I have often promised to, I have so far not really posted much of note on my own site - in fact, pretty much nothing. Well, that is coming to an end, as I have finally begun selecting some stuff to put up here. So, the fact that I am actually uploading some art (in the form of some of my better photographs) combined with my own changing viewpoint on Serendipity Jones as an entity led me to the point were I felt the time was right to make a new beginning.

Which is probably the most verbose way possible of saying "I wanted to change my page"! Oh well! ^_^;;;

Now, as I said, I am actually posting some Arts! Excitement! Some of it I am going to post to Scraps, for now, as I am not sure which photos to use as the "actual" main image for some of the pictures I have taken, as not sure which is better, so if people want to take a look and give me some feedback, I will then make a decision in the next week or so (and keep the others in scraps)! ^_^

PS Oh Yes, I forgot! I am going to be re-favouriting all my favourites, and as I seem to be incapable of favouriting anything without leaving a comment, I'll probably re-comment them too! Just letting you know in advance! ^_^;;;
